<p style="font-size:18px">Looking to switch it up for breakfast? Here are 7 easy breakfast ideas to try at home. Check out my <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdAy1SjXTVQ&amp;t=1s&amp;ab_channel=LifestyleJessica" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YouTube video</a> on how I made each of these easy breakfast ideas!</p>

<div style="height:40px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>1. Egg Breakfast Sandwich</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1500" height="842" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8001.jpg" alt="egg breakfast sandwich" class="wp-image-1790" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8001.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8001-300x168.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8001-600x337.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8001-768x431.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8001-800x449.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px">Scramble together two eggs and some shredded cheddar cheese in a small frying pan on a low heat. I recommend to cook the eggs slow as this prevents them from drying out. Add in some fresh ground pepper and any herbs or spices you like. Melt a slice of cheese on top and serve on your bread of choice. I like to put a little ketchup on mine. Feel free to add in some spinach or veggies, or some meat if you&#8217;d like.</p>

<div style="height:60px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>2. Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img decoding="async" width="1500" height="842" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8015.jpg" alt="strawberry banana smoothie bowl" class="wp-image-1791" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8015.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8015-300x168.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8015-600x337.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8015-768x431.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8015-800x449.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px">I use a <a href="https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/nutribullet-nutrient-extractor/3243657?brandId=4267" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nutribullet</a> to blend my smoothie base. Blend together:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:18px"><li>1 cup frozen strawberries</li><li>1 frozen medium banana</li><li>1 tbs peanut butter or nut/seed-butter of choice</li><li>1 scoop protein powder</li><li>dairy of choice</li></ul>

<p style="font-size:18px">I use the <a href="https://ehplabs.com/products/blessed-plant-based-protein?variant=31934063968338&amp;currency=USD&amp;utm_medium=product_sync&amp;utm_source=google&amp;utm_content=sag_organic&amp;utm_campaign=sag_organic&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwz5iMBhAEEiwAMEAwGHjNcath0geHGjvTPEMC0Qjw9P59emGaZr1Oq4oxbDW2k5RsueATQhoCfY4QAvD_BwE" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blessed Strawberry Mylk</a> plant-based protein powder and unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my base. The milk should only fill up about half the height of all the fruit in the blender to ensure a thick, frozen base. I like to top my smoothie bowl with granola, walnuts, fresh strawberries, peanut butter, chia seeds, coconut flakes and cocoa nibs.</p>

<div style="height:60px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>3. Eggs on Toast</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img decoding="async" width="1500" height="842" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8055.jpg" alt="eggs on toast" class="wp-image-1792" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8055.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8055-300x168.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8055-600x337.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8055-768x431.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8055-800x449.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px">Fry up two eggs however you prefer. Season with pepper and/or any herbs you like. Melt some cheddar or any cheese you prefer on top, and serve each fried egg on a piece of toast. I&#8217;ve been loving the Dave&#8217;s Killer Bread lately!</p>

<div style="height:60px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>4. Crepes</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1500" height="842" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8082.jpg" alt="crepes" class="wp-image-1793" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8082.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8082-300x168.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8082-600x337.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8082-768x431.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8082-800x449.jpg 800w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px"><strong>Here is my homemade crepe recipe:</strong></p>

<p style="font-size:18px">In a mixing bowl:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:18px"><li>1 cup of all purpose flour</li><li>1 tbs white granulated sugar</li><li><meta charset="utf-8">a dash of salt (about 1/4 tsp)</li><li>2 cups of 2% milk (I find that cow&#8217;s milk works better for these)</li><li>1 tsp vanilla extract</li><li>1 tbs canola oil</li><li>1 egg</li></ul>

<p style="font-size:18px">Whisk all ingredients together until batter is a watery consistency and smooth. If you need to add more milk then go for it. I like my crepes very thin, so the more watery the batter, the better. Preheat a large <strong>NON-STICK </strong>frying pan and spray generously or use butter. Once pan is nice and hot, pour a small ladle of batter into the pan and swirl it around until batter is dispersed around the pan. Wait about a minute for the crepe to start browning on the bottom and then flip. I like to serve my crepes with some fresh cut strawberries or bananas and real maple syrup!</p>

<div style="height:60px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>5. Veggie Omelette with Avocado Toast</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1500" height="842" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8237.jpg" alt="veggie omelette with avocado toast" class="wp-image-1794" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8237.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8237-300x168.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8237-600x337.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8237-768x431.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8237-800x449.jpg 800w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px">In a small bowl, mash half of a ripe avocado with salt, pepper and Trader Joe&#8217;s <em>everything but the bagel</em> seasoning. Spread onto a piece of bread and toast. In a small bowl, whisk together two eggs, a dash of milk, some seasonings, cheddar cheese and chunks of broccoli (or any veggie you have). Pour into a small frying pan and cook the omelette. I like to add extra cheese on top and then enjoy with the avocado toast.</p>

<div style="height:60px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>6. Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1500" height="823" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8246.jpg" alt="blueberry banana protein smoothie" class="wp-image-1795" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8246.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8246-300x165.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8246-600x329.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8246-768x421.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8246-800x439.jpg 800w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px">With a nutribullet or any blender you prefer, blend together:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:18px"><li>3/4 cup frozen blueberries</li><li>1 frozen medium banana</li><li>milk of choice (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk and put in a good amount so it blends easily)</li><li>1 tbs of peanut butter (or any nut/seed-butter you prefer)</li><li>1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I like the <a href="https://orgain.com/collections/protein-powder/products/organic-protein-plant-based-protein-powder?variant=29852864741485" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Orgain</a> plant based vanilla bean or <a href="https://www.vitaminshoppe.com/p/blessed-plant-protein-vanilla-chai-2-25-lb-powder/ehp0015?mr:trackingCode=8CCC5464-8E46-EB11-810D-00505694403D&amp;mr:referralID=NA&amp;sourceType=sc&amp;source=SHOP&amp;acqsource=adlucent&amp;store=37&amp;gclid=CjwKCAjwz5iMBhAEEiwAMEAwGGdG_4CsoFUl-_456SLY_UUAoc4pecjWvzdjv0qlJsqTl5DDHFyJ1BoCRXkQAvD_BwE" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blessed Vanilla Chai</a>)</li><li>optional: blend in a 1/4 cup of Trader Joe&#8217;s Peanut Butter Protein Granola or granola of choice)</li></ul>

<p style="font-size:18px">Blend until smooth and enjoy!</p>

<div style="height:60px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>7. Creamy Oatmeal with Fresh Banana &amp; Peanut Butter</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1500" height="842" src="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8277.jpg" alt="creamy oatmeal" class="wp-image-1796" srcset="https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8277.jpg 1500w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8277-300x168.jpg 300w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8277-600x337.jpg 600w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8277-768x431.jpg 768w, https://lifestylejessica.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/IMG_8277-800x449.jpg 800w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></figure></div>

<p style="font-size:18px">I like my oatmeal creamy and not dry, and here&#8217;s how I make it!</p>

<p style="font-size:18px">In a small saucepan or pot add:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:18px"><li>1/3 cup water</li><li>1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk</li><li>2-3 tbs of Trader Joe&#8217;s Coconut Creamer</li><li>dash of ground cinnamon</li><li>1/3 cup of <a href="https://www.quakeroats.com/products/hot-cereals/steel-cut-oats-quick-cook" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Quaker Steel Cut Oats Quick 3-Minute Oats</a></li></ul>

<p style="font-size:18px">Cook for about three minutes or until creamy looking and liquids are absorbed. Add another two tablespoons of coconut creamer and serve in a bowl with your toppings of choice. I like to top mine with fresh sliced banana, creamy peanut butter and a sprinkle of chia seeds. </p>
