Visiting the Tulip Fields at Holland Ridge Farms in NJ

If you are a flower enthusiast, then you may be familiar with the famous Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge, New Jersey. The farm spans over 300 acres and features over 8 million tulips that bloom during the spring season. The annual tulip festival at Holland Ridge Farms attracts visitors from all over and is a top spring attraction in the Garden State.

Attractions At The Farm

Located in Monmouth County, Holland Ridge Farms is roughly an hour from New York City and Philadelphia. Known for its annual U-pick tulip and sunflower fields, Holland Ridge Farms is a must-visit spot for flower lovers every spring and fall! The tulip festival at Holland Ridge Farms takes place every year in April, during the peak of the tulip blooming season. The festival is a celebration of the farm’s tulips and is going on now through April 30th. As of April 16th, the farm is at peak bloom so I recommend planning a visit ASAP!

Visitors are allowed to walk through the tulip fields, take pictures, and even pick their own tulips to take home. The festival also features a variety of food vendors/trucks, farm animals, a bakery section, and a tractor hayride that takes riders around the field.

The tulip festival at Holland Ridge Farms offers excellent photo opportunities with its 16 unique photo props throughout the field. The colorful tulip fields also make for stunning photo backdrops!

Tickets

If you are planning to visit the tulip festival at Holland Ridge Farms, it is essential to plan ahead. The festival can get busy, especially on weekends, so it is advisable to purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets are required for everyone ages 3+ and cost $15 per person (including all fees and taxes). Holland Ridge Farms has a firm no refunds, no exchanges policy, and is open rain or shine seven days per week. U-pick tulips cost $1 per stem.

A Must-See NJ Attraction

All in all, the tulip festival at Holland Ridge Farms is a great opportunity for flower enthusiasts to witness the beauty of tulips in full bloom. The festival offers a range of activities for visitors, making it an ideal destination for families and groups. The farm’s colorful tulip fields make for a memorable experience that is definitely a must-see in New Jersey this April!
