Bucket List Waterfall Hike 2 Hours from North Jers

Bucket List Waterfall Hike 2 Hours from North Jersey/NYC🥾❄️🌲
📍This is the hike to Kaaterskill Falls in New York State.
This hike is about a 2-ish-hour drive from most of North Jersey and about 3-ish hours from Central, making it doable during a day trip to NY State!
The hike is about 15 minutes from Hunter Mountain Resort. It’s great to add onto a ski trip weekend in that area.
📌If you are doing this hike in the winter, you’ll need crampons for your shoes as it gets icy/slippery.
📌Park at 103 Laurel House Rd, Palenville, NY
From the lot, it’s a short walk to a viewing platform which offers stunning views of the waterfall. From here, it’s about a half mile to get down to the falls.
📌This is a moderate hike that features stairs! Wear proper footwear and crampons to stay safe!

@american_thrift_northeast_ is definitely one of the BEST thrift stores I’ve been to in NJ!
📍American Thrift Store, 90 Dayton Ave, Passaic, NJ
This store has such a fantastic selection of clothing, home decor, jewelry, books, and more!
📌They also offer a variety of promotions such as their Friday Happy Hour Sale on Fridays from 4 PM to 8 PM.
