
There’s something about fall in New Jersey that makes me want to spend every weekend outside. Between the crisp air, the changing leaves, and of course all the fall treats, it’s the perfect season to visit a local farm. Whether you’re into apple picking, pumpkin picking, wandering through corn mazes, or just want that cozy fall vibe, New Jersey has so many spots worth checking out! 1. Beach Plum Farm
Address: 140 Stevens St, West Cape May, NJ
Their fall decor is up for the season, and it’s free to browse the market store. On weekends, they host ‘Fall at the Farm’ from September 20th through November 23rd, 2025, which requires paid admission and includes a hayride, pumpkin picking, and more.
2. Tranquillity Farms
Address: 47 Decker Pond Rd, Green Township, NJ (Andover)
Fall Fest takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from September 20th through October 26th, plus Monday, October 13th, 2025. There’s no entry fee—you just pay for the activities you want, like pumpkin picking, the corn maze, and more.
3. Happy Day Farm
Address: 106 Iron Ore Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726
Fall activities require paid admission and include the pumpkin patch, corn maze, flower fields, and more. Pay for what you pick.
4. Von Thun Farms
Washington Location Address: 438 NJ-57, Washington, NJ
South Brunswick Location Address: 519 Ridge Road, South Brunswick, NJ
Fall Festival Weekends run Saturdays and Sundays from September 13th through November 2nd, featuring a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin patch, apple orchard, farm animals, and more. Visit their website to learn more about what each location offers.
5. Melick’s Town Farm & Oldwick Cider Mill
Califon Orchard Address: 472 County Rd 513, Califon, NJ
Cider Mill Address: 19 King Street, Oldwick, NJ
Both locations offer apple picking, fresh-pressed cider and doughnuts, plus hayrides on weekends. Visit their website to learn more about what each location offers.
6. Secor Farms
Address: 85 Airmont Ave, Mahwah, NJ
Fall Fun runs daily from September 13th through November 2nd, 2025. General admission tickets are required to access the pumpkin patch and corn maze.
7. Heaven Hill Farm
Address: 451 NJ-94, Vernon Township, NJ
The Great Pumpkin Festival runs from September 13th through November 2nd, 2025. Enjoy tasty food, games, and 35+ attractions, including hayrides, the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and more. 8. Holland Ridge Farms
Address: 108 Rues Rd, Cream Ridge, NJ
This is the largest U-Pick sunflower field, with paid admission required ($17 per person on weekdays, $20 per person on weekends). It’s open daily from September 12th through October 13th, 2025, and you pay for the flowers you pick. Visit their website here for more info.
9. Eastmont Orchards
Address: 321 County Rd 537, Colts Neck, NJ
Admission is free, and you pay for what you pick. Apple and pumpkin picking is currently being offered and typically runs through late October. They post picking updates on their Instagram.
10. Abma’s Farm
Bergen County Location Address: 700 Lawlins Road, Wyckoff, NJ
Somerset County Location Address: 282 Amwell Rd, Hillsborough Township, NJ
Wyckoff Location Info: Admission is $21 per person for everyone ages 2+, and includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch, a pumpkin, and barnyard petting zoo access. Tickets can be purchased online for September 23rd, September 27th, and October 2nd through November 1st (closed Sundays).
Hillsborough Location Info: Admission is $18 per person for everyone ages 2+, and includes a hayride, corn maze admission, access to the pumpkin patch, and petting zoo admission. Pumpkins are pay for what you pick.
11. Battleview Orchards
Address: 91 Wemrock Rd, Freehold, NJ
Apple and pumpkin picking is available now through October 31st, 2025. You pay for what you pick, cash only.
12. Red Wagon Farm
Address: 136 Applegarth Rd, Monroe Township, NJ
Open every Thursday through Sunday, plus October 13th, from September 20th through October 31st. Admission is $21 per person and includes pumpkin picking, the corn maze, hayrides, and more. Visit their website to learn more.
13. Riamede Farm
Address: 122 Oakdale Rd, Chester, NJ
Purchase general admission tickets online: $10.50 per person on weekends and $3.50 per person on weekdays. ‘Apple and Pumpkin Days‘ are running September 20th to October 26th, 2025. This is a great farm for apple and pumpkin picking, and you pay for what you pick.
14. Windy Brow Farms
Address: 359 Ridge Rd, Fredon Township, NJ
This Sussex County farm offers a beautiful apple orchard with mountainous views in the background. You will need to purchase an apple picking bag in the market store to partake in the picking. I visited recently and purchased a 1/2-peck bag and was able to fill it up in the orchard. There is also an ice cream/coffee window and the market store has delicious apple cider doughnuts!
