Welcome to the Switzerland Travel Vlog! This trip was back in September of 2024, and we had the absolute best time exploring this beautiful country. This vlog highlights our 5-night, 4-day trip to Switzerland, covering areas including Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Luzern, Mt. Pilatus, Interlaken, Grindelwald, and more. I also got engaged on this trip and included some footage of the proposal in Wengen!!! I hope you all enjoy it! Pilatus excursion - 10-minute walk from Kriens bus stop to Mt. Pilatus gondola/cable car service (purchase tickets here for your journey) - Take a gondola from Kriens to Frakmuntegg, and then transfer onto a larger cable car to Pilatus Kulm - Explore Pilatus Kulm for 2 hours or so - Take the Cogwheel Railway from Pilatus Kulm to Alpnachstad - Take train from Alpnachstad to Luzern - Spend the evening walking around Luzern (see the footbridge and Old Town) - Dinner in Luzern at Restaurant Libelle Thursday, Sept 19th - Check out of hotel in Luzern, and take the train to Lauterbrunnen - Arrive to Lauterbrunnen and store your luggage at the train station or a local hotel - Walk to Staubbach Falls (FREE) - Walk from Staubbach Falls to Trümmelbachfälle (this walk will likely take over an hour and is beautiful - definitely recommend) - We got a quick snack at the cafe at Trümmelbachfälle, and then paid to tour the waterfalls (paid tourist attraction - we enjoyed it, but enjoyed the walk here even more) - Take the local bus from Trümmelbachfälle back to downtown Lauterbrunnen area - Check out shops in Lauterbrunnen and retrieve your luggage - Take the Cogwheel Train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen - Walk to Hotel Jungfraublick in Wengen and check in for 2 nights - Walk to dinner in Wengen at Hotel Restaurant Bärren (we had an 8 PM reservation) Friday, Sept 20th - Have breakfast at hotel - Take the cable car from Wengen to Männlichen - We hiked the Royal Walk, which is about 20-minutes each way from where the cable car drops you off - We also walked from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg, which take about an hour and a half and is relatively easy with stunning views - Lunch pitstop at Restaurant Grindelwaldblick - It's about another 10-15 minutes of walking from the restaurant to the Kleine Scheidegg train station, where you can take a train to Grindelwald - Take the train to Grindelwald and explor the town (this town feels more touristy, so we didn't spend as long here, but you can hike to Grindelwald First here) - Take train from Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen, and then Cogwheel to Wengen - Walk around Wengen - Dinner at The Deck, which is attached to Hotel Jungfraublick Saturday, Sept 21st - Check out of Hotel Jungfraublick in Wengen - Take the train from Wengen to Interlaken - Store luggage at Interlaken Youth Hostel near train station - Walk to Lake Brienz (about 20 minutes) and explore it - my Fiancé went swimming - Walk back to main town area of Interlaken and get lunch at Velo Cafe - Explore the town and then retrieve your luggage - Take the train from Interlaken to Zurich - Walk to and check-in to Helvetia Boutique & Art Hotel in Zurich - Dinner at The Bite (delicious burgers) Sunday, Sept 22nd - Casual breakfast at Juicery 21 - Check out of hotel and walk to Train Station - Take train to Zurich Airport (If you have a later flight this day, you can explore the city of Zurich more) MUSIC Music by C4C - 1997 - https://thmatc.co/?l=BF3660AC Music by Overbrook - Blessed Assurance - https://thmatc.co/?l=194557E6 Music by Sam Celentano - Soft-Spoken - https://thmatc.co/?l=BF81700F Music by Sleep Culture, The Tea Shop - Marigold - https://thmatc.co/?l=12B1C774 Music by WABI SABI - shy girl beats - https://thmatc.co/?l=0B7799D3 Music by Sleep Culture - Marin - https://thmatc.co/?l=5096B852 Music by Sleep Culture, bimbop - Bok Choy - https://thmatc.co/?l=6ADC427E Music by Sleep Culture - Santa Rosa - https://thmatc.co/?l=1122142B Music by Sleep Culture - Afternoon - https://thmatc.co/?l=E1F334F6 Music by Gui'R' - friends - https://thmatc.co/?l=81A700D8 Music by Chilly Kitty - forest metaphors - https://thmatc.co/?l=98784B16 Music by pecna - gentle breeze - https://thmatc.co/?l=6E69D4CA Music by Isavivi - Dreams - https://thmatc.co/?l=19D41AA4
