Impromptu mini vlog of everything I ate at the NJ Impromptu mini vlog of everything I ate at the NJ Wine & Food Festival this past Saturday at their Grand Tasting event!😋
There were so many local restaurants and chefs in attendance. Everything we ate was truly delicious! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but If I had to, I’d probably say the truffle stuffed gnocchi from @luiginosparmigiana 😍 It was fantastic, rich, and full of flavor! But seriously… everything I showed in this video was amazing!!
As a big NJ foodie, this event was perfect for me to try a ton of unique offerings from many different NJ restaurants!
I now need to visit all of these restaurants’ locations bc I’m craving more😁

The BEST Pumpkin Picking Farms & Patches in Monmouth County, NJ

October is right around the corner which means pumpkin season is officially upon us! Pumpkin picking is one of my favorite fall activities to do this time of year tied with apple picking! I’ve rounded up five of the best spots in Monmouth County to go pumpkin picking at this fall 2022.

1. Happy Day Farm (Manalapan, NJ)

Address: 106 Iron Ore Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726

Fall Festival 2022: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Oct. 10: 10am-5pm (last entry at 4pm)

Happy Day Farm in Manalapan is one of my fav spots to visit during the fall season! I visited this farm last September and had such a fun day! Happy Day Farm’s famous fall festival runs until October 31. The full Fall Festival experience includes 35+ different activities including pumpkinville (photo ops with pumpkin displays), pumpkin picking, a corn maze, pig races, tractor rides, a fun slide, feeding zoo, games etc… You can access all 35+ activities of the fall festival on Friday-Sunday, plus Monday, October 10. Tickets can be purchased here for $24 per person and are ONLINE ONLY! You must buy tickets in advance online, and cannot purchase them at the gate for these dates! Pumpkins are $0.79 per pound. Happy Day Farm has food concessions including options such as pizza, cheese steaks, fries, burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, gyros, zeppoles, fried oreos, apple fritters, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade & more! They have plenty of parking on premises.

Happy Day Farm is also open in October on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays for limited fall activities. The farm is closed on Tuesdays. Tickets to enter the farm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday are $21 per person, and can only be purchased in person, at the gate, for cash only! Included in this ticket is their zinnia flower field, pumpkin picking, and all pumpkinville photo-ops.

2. Red Wagon Farm (Manalapan, NJ)

Address: 437 NJ-33, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726

Open daily 10am-5pm until Halloween

If you are looking for a classic pumpkin picking off-the-vine experience in Monmouth County, then Red Wagon Farm in Manalapan is a great option. I visited fall of 2020 and found this to be an easy, fun spot for pumpkin picking. Red Wagon’s pumpkin patch is located off the side of the road on Route 33. Admission is free, and includes access to *paid activities such as pumpkin picking, a corn maze, hay rides, a petting zoo, and their food truck. They also offer free activities such as corn hole, tug of war, a rock treasure hunt and photo ops. The farm is cash only and they allow friendly, leashed dogs in the pumpkin field only. They have parking on premises.

*Admission is free, but here are the costs of everything at the farm:

  • Face Pumpkins $0.69 per pound.
  • Hay rides $6.00 per person.
  • Corn maze $7.00 per person.
  • Pony rides $9.00 per person.
  • Petting zoo $9.00 per person.

BONUS: Red Wagon Farm has a second location in Monroe (Middlesex County) now open for 2022!

Address: 136 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, NJ

Open October – Saturdays & Sundays 10am-5pm: access to all paid and free activities

Eastmont Orchards is a local favorite for pick-your-own apples and pumpkins! Apple picking is currently still offered at Eastmont Orchards as of late September 2022, and will continue into mid-October. Pumpkin picking has begun at Eastmont Orchards and will be offered throughout October. Pumpkins are $0.69 per pound and apples are $2.29 per pound.
