Impromptu mini vlog of everything I ate at the NJ Impromptu mini vlog of everything I ate at the NJ Wine & Food Festival this past Saturday at their Grand Tasting event!😋
There were so many local restaurants and chefs in attendance. Everything we ate was truly delicious! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but If I had to, I’d probably say the truffle stuffed gnocchi from @luiginosparmigiana 😍 It was fantastic, rich, and full of flavor! But seriously… everything I showed in this video was amazing!!
As a big NJ foodie, this event was perfect for me to try a ton of unique offerings from many different NJ restaurants!
I now need to visit all of these restaurants’ locations bc I’m craving more😁

Experience the Spring Blossom Festival at Riamede Farm (Chester, NJ)

Spring is in full fledge and there is nothing quite like the sight of spring apple blossoms. Riamede Farm, a historic apple orchard located in Chester, NJ, is offering an opportunity to celebrate the spring season and experience the beauty of the blooming orchard. This unique event is a must-see for flower and nature enthusiasts! The Spring Blossom Festival will take place on May 6th, 2023 from 11 am to 3 pm. The event is open to the public!

The Apple Blossoms

The festival presents a chance to take a scenic hayride through the orchard and witness the apple blossoms in full bloom, with their shades of pink and white. Each blossom has the potential to become an apple, and pollination is a vital part of the apple production process. Riamede Farm has dozens of honey bee hives, one per acre, which help with the pollination process. Joan Tak, president of the Morris and Somerset County Beekeepers Association, emphasizes the importance of bees and native pollinators in the production of fruits and vegetables. The association will exhibit a glass-fronted demo hive, allowing visitors to see the inner workings of a real hive.

Attractions At The Festival

In addition to hayrides and beekeeping education talks, the festival also will feature live acoustic music and blacksmithing demonstrations. Additionally, visitors can shop from over 30 artisan vendors! Local food trucks and ice cream will also be on the premises for guests to enjoy.

Visitors can also buy Riamede Farm’s famous apple cider doughnuts as their main shop will be open (p.s. these doughnuts are incredible). Additionally, with Mother’s Day around the corner, garden plant starts and hanging flower baskets will be for sale. These are perfect for Mother’s Day gifting and starting your own garden!
